Fire Engineer

How will you be the change?

As a Fire Engineer with Bellrock, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top-notch fire engineering and consultancy projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing expert fire consultancy and engineering advice to a diverse range of clients.
Managing day-to-day project delivery, ensuring exceptional service standards are met and maintained.
Playing a key role in the development and mentoring of fellow fire safety teams, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Offering technical guidance and support on fire safety matters, contributing to the team's success.
Undertaking project work, including scheduling surveys, preparing risk assessments, and method statements in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Embracing the opportunity for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and actively participating in its delivery.
Working towards and achieving EngTech or Incorporated Fire Engineer status with the Engineering Council via the Institute of Fire Engineers.

What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Fire Engineer you’ll need…

A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in Fire Consultancy services, demonstrating a solid grasp of fire safety strategies and engineering.
A Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in a fire engineering related field.
Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
A drive for innovation and the ability to challenge the status quo, bringing fresh perspectives to the table.
Exceptional planning, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively influence diverse groups both internally and externally.
Strong self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
A proactive and assertive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a hands-on attitude.

Working arrangements

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. This role is a home based with the requirement to travel across England, with occasional overnight stays. Work pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm, based on 37.5 hours per week
