As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to both employees and management. Your primary responsibilities will include addressing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. In your role you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices, and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

And as a People Advisor with Bellrock you’ll do it by…

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, such as conflicts and grievances, in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Assist in the resolution of performance-related issues, guiding managers on performance management policy and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies that align with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty as requested by the HR Business Partner from time to time


What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a People Advisor you’ll need…

  • A recognised HR qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through the significant experience working in a generalist HR role.
  • Membership of CIPD (Assoc essential, working towards Chartered)
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience as an HR Adviser or in a similar HR role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in HR Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and results-focus
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Negotiating with and influencing managers
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented
  • Committed to high standards and continuous improvement

Working arrangements

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from our offices based in Leicester on a hybrid basis. Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
