Senior Project Manager

And as a Senior Project Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…

  • Lead business development and client relationship management activities, growing your own client base across Scotland.
  • Win fee-earning work through networking, bid support and strategic client engagement.
  • Manage and mentor Project Managers and junior team members, supporting their professional development.
  • Oversee delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects from inception through to completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead and chair project meetings, design team coordination sessions and issue meeting minutes.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets and risk registers to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure construction projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Support directors in strategic planning, business growth initiatives and consultancy expansion.
  • Drive a professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach across all project activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and service delivery.


What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Senior Project Manager, you’ll need…

  • Extensive consultancy and/or client-side experience within the built environment and construction sector.
  • Proven track record of fee-earning and work-winning, with demonstrable client development skills.
  • Experience building and managing your own client base through effective networking and relationship management.
  • Previous leadership and team management experience, including mentoring junior construction professionals.
  • Ability to balance business development activities with hands-on project delivery and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills for client engagement and team leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project risk, financial performance and contract administration.
  • Experience across multi-disciplinary service offerings and multiple construction sectors.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive, forward-looking approach to consultancy growth.
  • Professional membership such as MRICS, MAPM, APM or equivalent industry recognition is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence for site visits.

Working arrangements

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from 35a Melville Street, Edinburgh, EH3 7JF and travelling to sites. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch break.
