The Head of Pricing and Cost Modelling is an important role within the Intelligent Asset Care Division of Bellrock. This role will hold overall responsibility for the pricing methodology and tools used to price the work we perform for our customers, and also creating innovative commercial models that will deliver outstanding value for our customers. As Head of Pricing and Cost Modelling you will be responsible for developing and implementing cohesive pricing strategies, leading cost modelling initiatives and providing strategic insights to support business growth and profitability, along with cost and price certainty for our customers. This role requires a strong analytical leader who can translate complex data into clear pricing models, client summaries and Governance packs, as well as creating actionable business recommendations.

And as a Head of Pricing and Modelling with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…
Develop and execute Divisional (and in some cases Group wide) pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics
• Lead the pricing and cost modelling function, providing expertise across the whole Division
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define pricing policies, frameworks and best practices
• Present pricing recommendations and business cases to executive leadership, board members and client teams
Design and implement dynamic pricing models which work across all product and service lines provided, creating consistency, certainty and confidence in pricing developed and decisions made
• Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market positioning studies, creating competitor overlays into Pricing Strategy development and Governance activities
• Develop pricing optimisation strategies which balance risk and reward and maximise profitability

• Build comprehensive cost models to support pricing decisions and product profitability analysis
• Own the pricing models and maintain the veracity and currency of data held within these, including industry standard pricing methodologies such as FAST Standard, SFG20, RICS NRM, etc
• Lead cost-optimisation initiatives across the Division and potentially wider Group
• Develop activity-based costing methodologies and lifecycle cost analysis
• Provide insights on cost drivers and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Lead cost modelling and pricing activity for certain strategically important opportunities
• Work with other stakeholders such as Legal & Commercial to ensure pricing practices meet contractual requirements Group collaboration
• Partner with Sales and pricing teams across Bellrock Group to devise cohesive pricing models which include all requirements without duplication of costs
• Support value proposition and go-to-market strategies with pricing recommendations and commercial model development
• Lead or participate in Group best practice and working groups where required Data & Analytics
• Develop advanced analytics capabilities to support pricing and cost decisions
• Implement pricing analytics tools and dashboards for analysis of pricing drivers and other trends, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
• Lead data-driven pricing experiments and analysis, capturing and presenting insights which can be turned into action
• Establish key performance indicators and reporting frameworks for pricing and cost

Essential
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, economics, or related quantitative field
• Minimum 8 years in a pricing, cost modelling, estimating or related field
• Proven track record of leading pricing activities and securing New Business Growth
• Highly proficient Microsoft Excel and other pricing software and tools
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations
• Deep understanding of pricing strategies across different business models (B2B, SaaS, etc)
Desirable
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualisation tools including PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
• Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or Equivalent
• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning in pricing • Track record of pricing for Private and Public Sector clients • Experience of pricing Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Frameworks or Call Off contracts
Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from Home with customer locations as required, Monday to Friday 08:30 am too 17:00 pm with an hour for lunch break.
