Business Development Manager

Liverpool (Hybrid Working)

WiggleDesk, part of Bellrock Technologies, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager dedicated to driving growth for our innovative flexible workspace management solution. This role involves proactively identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, strategically positioning WiggleDesk within markets focused on corporate real estate, flexible workspace, hybrid working, and enterprise solutions.

This is a focused, strategic sales role emphasising lead generation, full-cycle sales engagement, and direct responsibility for closing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying, engaging, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities specifically within corporate real estate, facilities management, property services, and organisations embracing hybrid or agile working.

  • Managing the full sales cycle, from prospect identification through to opportunity qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and successful closure.

  • Representing WiggleDesk proactively through networking, active engagement on LinkedIn, industry exhibitions, and relevant industry forums to build professional networks and generate new business opportunities.

  • Regularly utilising HubSpot CRM to accurately track, manage, and report on pipeline development and prospect interactions.

  • Providing market intelligence on industry trends, competitor positioning, and client needs to refine targeting strategies, campaigns, and business development approaches.

  • Collaborating closely with WiggleDesk's Marketing teams to create targeted, compelling prospecting campaigns and collateral specifically tailored for flexible workspace solutions.

  • Communicating clearly and effectively with the Senior Management Team, providing insights, updates, and proactive recommendations based on market intelligence and pipeline analysis.


Skills & experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a proactive, business development-focused role within software/SaaS or technology sectors, ideally with exposure to flexible workspace, hybrid working technologies, or PropTech.
  • Proven track record in successfully generating, nurturing, and closing significant new business opportunities, particularly within the flexible workspace or corporate real estate sectors.
  • Demonstrated capability in strategic prospecting, clearly articulating WiggleDesk’s value proposition to senior decision-makers.
  • Technologically proficient, experienced with HubSpot CRM or equivalent systems to manage pipeline activity effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, translating technical features into compelling business benefits tailored to client needs.
  • Degree educated or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Proactive Hunter Mentality - Relentless in identifying and pursuing new business.
  • Excellent Communicator - Clear, persuasive articulation of WiggleDesk’s value proposition.
  • Organised and Efficient - Managing activities promptly and effectively.
