Bellrock Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager (but so much more!), Customer Service Expert, Business Development Strategist, Contract Negotiator, Relationship expert and growth catalyst to join our dynamic team.

You will be a critical player in nurturing our most valuable client relationships, ensuring their long-term success through a combination of exceptional customer service, strategic business development, and expert contract negotiation.

And as a Key Account Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at our highest-value clients.
  • Proactively identify and address client concerns, exceeding expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within Bellrock Group's portfolio, leveraging our diverse engineering services.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities in our engineering specialisms.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales growth for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Growth Director to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure profitable business deals, ensuring optimal terms and maximizing profitability.
  • Develop and implement robust commercial and contractual frameworks for assigned projects.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on all commercial and contractual matters.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, adapting strategies to ensure Bellrock remains competitive.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying and implementing change initiatives.

What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Key Account Manager, you’ll need…

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or a related sales role, preferably within the engineering sector with demonstrable understanding of Hard FM (HVAC, Building services etc)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, understanding of business principles, financial analysis, negotiation, and risk management is crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Deep understanding of commercial governance principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.


Working arrangements

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Sheffield office, S9 1JQ, Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm.
