Head of Financial Performance
The Head of Financial Performance is a key leadership role within the Bellrock Group Finance team, responsible for driving financial reporting, planning, insights, treasury management, and cost control across the organisation. Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures the delivery of high-quality financial analysis and strategic guidance to support business decision-making at the highest level
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Control
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports for the CFO, Finance Business Partners, Executive Leadership Team, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business strategy and investment decisions.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial performance against targets.
Financial Insights & Decision Support
- Provide commercial and strategic financial insights to the CFO, Finance Business Partners and Executive Leadership Team.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and economic factors to inform business strategy.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
- Optimise capital structure and financing strategies to support business growth.
Overhead & Cost Control
- Drive cost management initiatives to ensure efficient allocation of resources across the business.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Own and delivery month-end reporting for Group functions.
- Establish robust financial governance frameworks for overhead expenditure.
Skills & experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) required.
- Extensive experience in senior finance roles, ideally within a group finance function.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, FP&A, and treasury management.
- Proven ability to provide financial insights that influence executive decision-making.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Proficiency in financial systems, data analytics, and business intelligence tools
- Strategic Thinking – Ability to align financial performance with business objectives.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Leadership & Influence – Capable of leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen – Strong understanding of financial drivers and business performance levers.
- Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Working arrangements
