You are responsible for developing and implementing a robust procurement and supply management strategy, leading the procurement and supply management function for the L&G Account and wider IAC Commercial Sector portfolio of accounts to ensure high levels of supply chain performance, optimal value for money and exemplar ESG credentials.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management, procurement, strategic thinking along with a proven track record of achieving savings while maintaining service quality.

And as the Head of Procurement Supply Management with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…
1) Strategy & Collaboration
- Developing an appropriate procurement and supply management strategy to drive value for money, high performance and ESG / responsible procurement development within the L&G Account and wider Commercial Sector portfolio of contracts, (seek operational efficiencies and synergies between the 2).
- Integrate and collaborate with client teams, the account team and group procurement teams to leverage best value and high performance, for both the client and Bellrock.
- Lead specific aspects of the Bellrock Groups Procurement and Supply Management platform / strategic development programme.
- Lead and manage the client based procurement and supply chain resources, and collaborate with other client based teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices while working with key supply partners to develop innovative and value adding enhancements.
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to set and meet budgetary goals, forecasting savings, and managing risks.
- Work with the Commercial Sector Director to drive cost efficiency, performance improvement and Sector growth agenda’s, participating in business development processes.
2) Value for Money
- Oversee the supply chain budgeting process and financial reporting process including, for the L&G Account, site-based allocations and quarterly fund level reporting.
- Initiate a strict cost control process, ensuring invoice/budget accuracy, dealing with change requests etc and managing working capital & payment terms.
- Ensuring all savings expectations are delivered as plan, while demonstrating value for money across the supply chain.
- Undertake procurement activity such as tendering, benchmarking, negotiation or auctions as per plan.
- Issue all contract documentation as required, (T&Cs, NDAs etc)
3) Supply Partner Performance
- Develop a suite of appropriate KPIs and SLAs from which supply partner performance can be monitored at an L&G and also Commercial Sector portfolio level.
- Monitor performance and produce reporting monthly (or as and when required).
- Act as a senior point of escalation for performance issues, resolving through corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
- Undertake proactive performance coaching and supply partner development to drive high performance and client satisfaction.
4) Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks within the procurement and supply management process, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues and market volatility.
- Ensure all procurement and supply management activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and Bellrock standards.
What does it take?

- Degree level, ideally Masters degree in a related field.
- MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualified or committed to achieving within 12 months of appointment.
- Extensive experience in procurement and supply management.
- Proven experience in managing a complex, large scale spend.
- Multi-sector experience, with a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management.
- Insightful analytical and creative problem-solving.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage complex projects and drive change across Bellrock.

Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from home Monday to Friday 8:30 am top 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch break
