Software Development .NET Delivery Manager

The Software Development .NET Delivery Manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams across various software projects within Bellrock Technologies. This role includes the accountability for successful delivery, planning, scheduling, and resourcing of software projects, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives and timelines.

  • Project Delivery and Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Utilise Agile methodologies to manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables effectively.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage team performance, evaluate individual and team metrics, and ensure team alignment with project goals. Responsible for recruitment, and maintaining high team morale.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary communication point between clients, team members, and other stakeholders. Manage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Technical Oversight: Leverage a strong background in software engineering to collaborate with developers on technical estimates and solutions, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in software delivery. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and continuous improvement in project outputs.
  • Resource Planning: Efficiently allocate resources and manage schedules to maximise productivity and meet project deadlines. Experience in managing nearshoring teams is considered an asset.
  • Collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Owners: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that design work is sufficiently detailed to allow accurate project estimates and risk-managed project initiations.
  • Risk Management: Maintain an active risk and issues board to communicate potential concerns to stakeholders transparently and effectively.
  • Strategic Communication: Provide quarterly updates to the wider business, detailing progress against the product roadmap and upcoming initiatives. Collaborate with team members to produce and update the product roadmap consistently.
  • Customer Interaction and Financial Oversight: Comfortably discuss project progress and associated costs with customers. Assist in producing quotes and keep customers informed, particularly if project scopes change and additional funding is necessary.

What does it take?

  • Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in managing complex software development projects, with a preference for projects involving financial ERP systems or platforms with similar complexity.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certification) would be advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of .NET framework and software development practices. Experience in architecture and software solution design is highly desirable.


Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Warrington Office and working two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
