And we unlock that by being technology-led, but people-driven. So when you’re part of Bellrock, you’ll get everything you need to be your best at work - because our people are the heart of our business. And we’re all about helping them to shine.
Bellrock Property and Facilities Management Limited is part of the Bellrock Group. Within the Consulting division of the Group, Real Estate is the UK’s leading service charge and insurance management consultancy in the retail, leisure, office and industrial sectors.
This position is remote, but linked to either the Bedford or Leicester office, which are home to experienced teams undertaking service charge and insurance management consultancy on behalf of occupiers principally within the retail and leisure space. The client base is predominantly blue-chip, advising many of the UK’s leading retailers and leisure companies.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the insurance management portfolio’s growth and therefore requires an ambitious and highly motivated team player, who has the individual drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
We believe every role is essential to providing that peace of mind for our customers - whatever part of the business you’re in. Because every role plays a part in driving us further. And everyone can be the change. That’s how deliver value for our customers, and building systems that lead the way
And as a Assistant Insurance Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…
This “hands on” role requires the successful applicant to be directly involved in the administration and management of a substantial insurance management portfolio for at least one of our blue-chip clients.
This will involve working on our bespoke in-house database, InsightRE™, using their skills to scrutinise insurance certificates, leases and other relevant information, liaising with various parties including both clients and managing agents to obtain information, challenging the appropriateness of the charges and helping to negotiate settlements, as well as preparing and issuing client reports and fee invoices.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Assistant Insurance Manager, you’ll need…
Ideally having some experience of the world of commercial property insurance, the successful candidate will already have some knowledge of the sector, preferably from an occupier’s perspective. They will therefore already have some experience of communicating directly with landlords and their managing agents, plus must similarly have an awareness of how to appropriately deal with clients, solicitors as well as a range of technical experts.

Keen eye for detail, with an analytical and inquisitive mind
Flexible approach and the ability to work to deadlines
High level of numeracy and literacy
Good computer literacy (with a good knowledge of Excel being particularly desirable).
From time to time, the successful applicant may, and dependent on experience, be expected to attend meetings, possibly alongside others, throughout mainland UK (and potentially Ireland).
Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from home Mon-Fri, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
