Multi Skilled HVAC Engineer

The purpose of the HVAC multi skilled engineer role is to provide PPM servicing and reactive breakdown service to Volvo Motherwell property located in the northern region working collaboratively with our Volvo client. You will be located at Volvo Motherwell. You will provide the highest professional standards in electrical / HVAC / gas / mechanical servicing and reactive maintenance including plumbing and minor fabric works.

And as a Multi Skilled HVAC Engineer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…

• Carry out PPM servicing works to an agreed planned asset schedule working in a clean tidy and professional manner and representing the business to high standards at all times.
• Carry out all works using agreed safe systems of works referring to risk assessments, method statements and complying with Bellrock safe systems of work. Obey all site rules and always wear appropriate uniform and PPE.
• Carry out reactive maintenance repairs to our customer’s premises to agreed KPI response times carrying out repairs to the highest standards and reporting any immediate defects or further works required.
• Receive, attend and update all jobs in a timely manner using the provided IT equipment, followed by accurate detailed records both electronically and in the site daily logbooks.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports encompassing of time and material usage via the Bellrock CAFM system (Concerto)
• Ensure that the help desk is always updated with your status, job progress, job completion, quotes required etc. and ensure the customer is updated at all times.
• To work within the budget constraints of the individual contract and show commercial acumen when making decisions around forecasting and estimating works.
• Ensure all associated paperwork and certificates are completed and signed by the customer to ensure the job can be invoiced.
• Management of outside suppliers when on site and confirmation of completed to works to correct standards.
• Ensure Clients induction process followed for contractors why on site.
• Provide guidance on HVAC/Electrical Gas / mechanical system issues and ensure operational safety of systems.
• Review H&S systems in line with company policy and working with the safety teams to ensure season tickets and permits are issued when required.
• Present a smart & pleasant demeanour when on and off site and engaging with the client.
• Take ownership of the site, taking responsibility for the contractors and visitors.
• Any other duties commensurate with role and which the employer may reasonably require of you to perform.

• • City and Guilds electrical / electronic Qualifications
  • Good understanding of work place permits such as hot works – WFH (working from height)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning.
  • Proven experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance role is essential.
  • Corporate / HTM / Critical/ Automotive Production line Environment - experience essential.
  • PASMA Training – desirable (training can be given)
  • IPAF Training – desirable (training can be given)
  • IOSH managing safety – essential
  • L8 responsible persons qualification – desirable ( training can be given)
  • IT literacy essential (Word / Excel / CAFM usage)
  • Experience of large complex electrical and building systems i.e., motors / pumps control panels etc
  • L.V distribution and associated system component fault finding experience i.e., ACB / MCB / PFC
  • Flexible work attitude and ability to adapt to client business demands.
