We are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team….

Location: Manchester

Hours and Pay: Monday to Friday- 40 hours per week – competitive salary plus generous overtime package, call out allowance, First Time Fix Bonus and door to door pay.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertake planned & reactive trade-related maintenance tasks within own area of expertise and skills set.
• Undertake gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks including testing work on completion.
• Undertake testing and PPM work.
• Participate in the out of hours call out rota as designated – approximately 1 in 6 but can vary
• Take measurements, estimate labour and identify material requirements for follow-on works via the red reporting system.

• Basic competency in using technology – email and the use of tablets for internal software system.
• Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be able to cover emergency call outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis).

Experience and qualifications needed:

• Hold current commercial and domestic qualifications
• Gas safe registered – CCN1 CDA1 CIGA1 CODNCO1 CORT1 ICPN1 TPCP1
• Hold a full drivers license
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience
• Be able to maintain a high standard level of work
