Operations Manager

The Successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Customer Relationship Managers and Account Coordinators to deliver first class service, compliance and standards. Ensuring that suppliers deliver to the agreed service levels and standards as per their contractual obligations, so that Bellrock in turn can deliver on ours. Stakeholder management is key as the Operations Manager and their team are the face of Bellrock in the field, building collaborative and supportive relationships with the client’s field teams. Finding ways to support the client in meeting their compliance and cost targets and supporting them on their Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability performance, by driving excellence and championing continuous improvement through supply chain partners.

And as a Operations Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…

  • Develop a plan to improve service delivery through your team and influencing others.
  • Work collaboratively with the help desk team.
  • Ensure that your plan is clearly communicated and understood by relevant stakeholders and throughout the contract.
  • Manage performance by identifying trends and working with the contract team to make changes for the better.
  • Utilise your team to improve the standards delivered by suppliers.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support the successful delivery of the contract.
  • Work collaboratively with the supplier relationship team and suppliers to make improvements at a national level.
  • Ensure that all statutory and non-statutory obligations are met by auditing contractor work standards.
  • Identify and any supply chain performance issues and directly address and rectify them.
  • Lead by example and support and develop direct reports.
  • Identify and action potential cost saving opportunities.

Essential 

  • Facilities Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • IT literate, particularly Excel – including data manipulation
  • Managed client relationships
  • Managed a team
  • Worked in a customer facing environment
  • Worked in a Facilities Management environment and has an understanding of the industry/FM market
  • Budgetary Management
  • Development and realisation of cost saving initiatives
  • Data management, analysis and reporting
  • Adherence to processes and procedures
  • Commercial Contract awareness and understanding
  • Basic technical understanding
  • Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability awareness

Desirable 

  • Educated to degree level
  • IWFM Level 4 Qualified 
  • Worked in a repair and maintenance environment
  • Worked with suppliers/ Procurement and managed Supply Chain leverage (moved from desirable)
  • MA, PC or Total FM Contract Management


Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Leicester Head Office, LE1 6LP and working 40 hours a week between 8am to 6pm.
