The role holder is a skilled and motivated Bid Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving Bellrock’s success by leading the end-to-end bid process for new facilities management business. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, project management, and excellent presentation and communication skills to deliver compelling bids that meet client requirements and contribute to our growth targets.

And as a Bid Manager with Bellrock you’ll do it by…

  • Collaborate with operational, business development and bid colleagues to develop comprehensive bid strategies to win.
  • Analyse client requirements and market trends to tailor bid approaches that resonate with potential clients.
  • Lead the bid process for an opportunity from initiation to submission, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required documents. Coordinate inputs from various teams, including operations, new business, technical, and commercial, to create cohesive and persuasive proposals.
  • Develop and curate impactful content for bids, including executive summaries, value propositions, case studies, detailed ITT question responses and other relevant materials.
  • Evaluate bid opportunities for potential risks and challenges, working with internal stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingencies to address potential issues.
  • Research and analyse competitor bids and market trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Leverage this information to enhance the Bellrock’s bid strategies and positioning.
  • Collaborate with commercial and estimating colleagues to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies, ensuring bid submissions align with Bellrock’s commercial objectives.
  • Lead and participate in client presentations and meetings to articulate solutions, provide insight into the bid process and address client questions or concerns.
  • Regularly review and analyse the outcomes of submitted bids to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bid process.
  • Undertake accurate and timely reporting on bid activities, including success rates, win/loss analysis, and key performance indicators.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine bidding strategies and tactics.

What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Bid Manager you’ll need…

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager/Bid Director or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully securing new business through bids and proposals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (Hubspot preferred), sales analytics software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bidding experience predominantly obtained in the property and facilities management industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to inform bid strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work to tight and changeable deadlines, managing conflicting priorities


Working arrangements
